HOCKEY SCHOOL INFORMATION & REGISTRATION (Ages 6 - 14)

90 min SKILLS PRACTICE

POWER SKATING 60 min

90 min GAME PLAY

Each group will have 4 hours of ice time daily including on ice skills, power skating, a scrimmage, and small games or ball hockey on the ice.

In addition to the on-ice sessions each day, there will be numerous off-ice activities like ball hockey, soccer, kickball, and various team building exercises for each student to enjoy.

Aside from our quality staff of professional coaches running the on ice sessions, there are at least 5 responsible counselors for each group at the camp who enjoy their time at the school just as much as the students do. 

Most counselors are graduates of the camp who demonstrate great passion and enthusiasm for the game and volunteer to assist in any way necessary — helping students get their equipment on, basic coaching duties, providing support and encouragement while handling attendance and supervision throughout the day.

We take hockey very seriously at GHHS, but when students are not playing or skating, they are making friends and memories. A week long tournament is held based on points for wins, good behaviour and clean play from all of the activities. We believe that we can bring the fun and learning from the original Golden Horseshoe Hockey School in Niagara to Coon Rapids. We look forward to starting a new tradition in the MN area. Our family is all about hockey and we are hoping to pass on our love for the game to your children.
